LEONIX-ROAD
Type: A quick drying modified alkyd resin solvent-based paint.
Uses: For marking roads and kerbs to provide demarcation, information and signage.
Substrates: Asphalt and concrete roads, parking areas and kerbs.
Advantages: Rapid drying and flexible. Good adhesion, water resistance and opacity,
and easy to apply.
Conditions during application: The temperature of the substrate should be minimum 15°C and at least 3°C above the dew point of the air, measured near the substrate. Good ventilation is usually required in confined areas to ensure proper drying. The moisture content in the substrate should not exceed 3% (by weight). The coating should not be exposed to oil, chemicals or mechanical stress until fully cured

Surface preparation & Paint System:
General road Surfaces : – Ensure that the road surface is clean, free from dust and
moisture.
– Repair joints, cracks, cavities and crevices with appropriate materials.
– Muddy roads should be cleaned with a pressurized water jet and allowed to dry.
– Remove any dust particles with a broom and blow off fine particles with pressurized air.
– Apply one coat Leonix Road, film thickness should be enough to fill the cavities of asphalt.
Storage Conditions:
Store under dry conditions away from direct sunlight, heat and extreme cold.
